  • No, Stillwaters is a cash-based practice. We do not accept or bill insurance directly. This model allows us to provide personalized, high-quality care without the restrictions, delays, or privacy concerns that can come with insurance-based systems.

    However, we can provide you with a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to ask if your plan offers this option.

  • Yes! Most Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) can be used to pay for psychiatric and mental health services. We recommend checking with your plan administrator for specific eligibility and documentation requirements.

  • Yes. All new clients must book the initial consultation session before beginning care at Stillwaters.

    This is a 60-minute session that allows us to:

    • Understand your concerns, goals, and health history

    • Determine if our services are the right fit for your needs

    • Begin crafting a personalized, integrative treatment plan

     

    This initial visit is required whether you're seeking medication management, psychotherapy, or a combination of services.

    If you are a new client in need of immediate assistance via our Relieve Concierge Package (before your initial consultation), please reach out to us directly.

  • Yes, our provider is a board certified nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority in Indiana and can prescribe medication during your appointments. There's no need to see another provider to fill a prescription.

  • We provide care to adults and adolescents ages 12 and up. If you have a child younger than 12, we will consider on a case-by-case basis depending on the level of care needed. Please reach out to us to determine if your child may be eligible.

  • We specialize in a wide range of mental health concerns affecting women and adolescent children including:

    While we provide care for all genders and backgrounds, we specialize in treating mental illnesses that disproportionality impact women. We provide care for adults and select adolescents. We take a whole-person approach, blending medication management (when needed) with therapy, functional medicine, and lifestyle support.

  • Stillwaters offers both in-person and virtual appointments to provide maximum flexibility and convenience. In-person sessions are available at our private, welcoming office space for clients who prefer face-to-face interaction or need certain types of care that benefit from in-person support.

    Virtual sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform and are available to clients who reside in Indiana.

    You can choose the format that best fits your schedule, comfort level, and treatment needs.
